IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Denise Marie (Bythrow)
Lear
September 25, 1960 – February 27, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Denise Marie Lear, who passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Denise grew up in Bridgewater, MA, attended Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, and graduated in 1978. Denise was an avid Patriots and Tiger Woods fan.
She loved John Denver, Elton John, Cheap Trick, and country music. Denise also believed in the power of Angels, flowers and butterflies, specifically relating to a dark blue butterfly and loved orchids and bleeding hearts. Denise cherished gardening with her sister Connie and she loved and shared cherry tomatoes, butternut squash, and summer squash with everyone. Denise also enjoyed camping, working with computers, and attending the local Bridgewater Farmer's Markets, especially Rick's Farm.
Denise taught Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) for many years at St. Thomas Aquinas, Bridgewater, MA. Denise worked at Raytheon for 20 years, the 99 Restaurant, and Honey Dew Donuts. She was loved by all her regulars.
Denise was born September 25, 1960. Denise was the beloved daughter of Barbara Bythrow and the late William F. Bythrow Sr. But more than anything, she was the mother to Caitlin and Meghan Lear. She loved spending time with her daughters, especially apple picking in the fall. She introduced her daughters to the power of love through film and TV show exploration, with favorites including Moulin Rouge, Titanic, the O.C., the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Anastasia.
Denise was considered the grandmother to all of the cat grandchildren Caitlin and Meghan had. Denise also had a "third" daughter, Mia-Kay Fuller, who was her niece. Caitlin, Meghan, and Mia-Kay would spend time with Denise watching Peter Pan, playing Neopets, and enjoying homemade Chicken Caesar-Salad during their High School Career. She was a sister to Constance Bythrow, Karen Morin and husband Paul Morin, Arthur Bythrow and William F. Bythrow Jr. and wife Colette Bythrow. Denise was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews and grandmother to the future Rose Lear.
