It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise M. Sarris on July 6, 2025, at the age of 78. Denise was a cherished woman who was known for her kind, loving and caring personality. Denise suffered from Alzheimer's Disease and passed peacefully at home under the care of her husband and family with the aid of Hospice.

Denise was born on January 27, 1947, in Brockton, MA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Grant and Audrey (Walter) Grant.

Denise met the love of her life and beloved husband, John F. Sarris 61 years ago when they became high school sweethearts. They were married for 59 years. The love that they shared was incredibly unique.

Denise began her career in customer service at Perkins Paper in Brockton and climbed the corporate ladder to Executive Assistant as Perkins expanded to a location in Taunton. She left her heart print when she retired after 34 years of dedication and loyal service.

Denise was known for her beautiful smile, and the love and support of her family and friends. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life—antiquing, decorating, gardening in her yard, cooking and baking for her family and friends, and nurturing a welcoming home filled with warmth and laughter. Denise's unwavering generosity extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of many friends, neighbors and coworkers and anyone in need of a gentle hand or a listening ear. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created, the compassion she shared, and the lessons of love and resilience she imparted to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Denise loved spending quality time with her family and her beloved Yorkie, Precious, who brought Denise comfort, joy and companionship.

Denise is survived by her husband, John F. Sarris; her daughter, Kimberly Smith; her son, John F. Sarris, Jr. and his wife, Susan. Denise also left behind her biggest treasures, her grandchildren, Kassaundra Quinn; Andrew (Drew) Smith and his wife, Staci; Austin-John Smith; Kelci Sarris; Tanner Sarris; John-Tyler Sarris; Olivia Sarris; Alexander Sarris, and her great grandchildren, Sophia Quinn; Jayden Quinn; Stella Smith; Wyatt Norton; and Hallie Sarris. Her cherished and closest friends, Susie Crawford, Sue Schuster, and Mary Fama; her siblings, Ronald Grant and his wife, Donna, Debra Cote and the late Michael Grant.

Calling hours will be held at the Russell-Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street (Rt. 28), West Bridgewater on Tuesday, July 15th from 4:00pm-7:30pm followed by a blessing in the funeral home at 7:30pm. Private Interment will follow.
