Obituary

Dennis J. Ieronimo 58 years of Bedford died unexpectedly Saturday July 12, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born in Somerville and raised in the Brockton area he was the son of Joseph Ieronimo of Halifax and the late Bessie (Lambert) Ieronimo. Dennis had lived in Bedford for the past year, previously living in Boston and Somerville. He was a US Marine veteran who served during the Vietnam era and was a member of AA for 28 years.
Dennis enjoyed working on his computer, blues music and playing his guitar.
In addition to his father he is survived by three children Jennifer Sorenson of Virginia; Christian Ieronimo of Oklahoma and Dennis Early of Brockton and 6 grandchildren. He was the brother of Donna Swanson and her husband Keith of Halifax; Lisa McIver of Marshfield and Dina Ieronimo of E. Bridgewater. He is also survived by his beloved companion Karen Martin of Stoughton and her children Chris and Ryan and 4 nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wed. at 10 am. Burial in Central Cemetery, Halifax. Visiting hours Tues. 5-8 pm. Donations in Dennis’ name may be made to the VA Homeless Shelter 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
