On Friday, June 3, 2022, Diana Alves, one of the most beautiful souls this world has known, passed away at age 54. Diana was born on February 4, 1968 in Boston, MA to Peter Alves and Matilda Centeio. Diana had five siblings, Peter, Susan, Johnny, Sheila, and Kelsey Alves. Throughout her life, Diana enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family and running along the beach and at D.W. Field Park. She had an infectious smile and a strong, loving spirit. Diana was a deeply devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend and a pillar for her family. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving mother, a fierce protector, a wonderful friend and confidant, and an amazing cook who fed the entire family. Diana is survived by her children, Adelito Fonseca, Ashley Andrade, Bonnie Depina, Brittany Depina, Helena Depina, and Nazriel Alves. She is also survived by her siblings, Susan, Sheila, and Kelsey Alves. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 10th from 5 - 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 11th at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held in Melrose Cemetery.
