July 1, 1954 – January 13, 2023
Diana Louise Covell, of Bridgewater, died peacefully on January 13 at home with her husband, two children and 3 dogs by her side. She was 68 years old.
Diana was born on July 1, 1954, in Chicopee, daughter of the late Paul Clark Jr. of Stoughton and Elisabeth (Senftleben) Clark of Berlin, Germany.
Diana graduated from Stoughton High School in 1972. After graduating from nursing school at Northeastern University in 1975, Diana started her career as a Registered Nurse at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Boston. She also worked in Los Angeles before returning to Massachusetts in 1978 and continued her career for 30 years before retirement.
She met her loving husband Allan in 1974 and they were married 45 years. They both loved spending time watching their children play sports. They shared a loved of animals, especially their beloved dogs.
Diana's greatest gift was caring for others and her love of all animals. She also loved gardening and the beauty of nature in her back yard. She was an avid reader throughout her lifetime.
Diana was the loving wife of Allan L. Covell and devoted mother of Kimberly A. Covell of Bridgewater and Daniel A. Covell and his wife Katelyn of Weymouth.
Sister of Monika (Clark) Levy and her late husband Stuart Levy of California, Robert Clark and his wife Cheryl of Florida, Thomas Clark of Milton, Paul Clark of Stoughton, and predeceased by her sister Linda (Clark) Eder and her husband Konrad Eder of Marshfield. Daughter in law to Dolores Covell and the late Robert Covell. Sister-in-law to Robert Covell Jr and his wife Susan of Florida and Kathy Melford and the late Jim Feeney of Taunton. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and 35 cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul on Friday, January 20th at 11:30AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 So. Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater, MA.
