Obituary

Diane R. (Castano) Cashman, age 87 of West Bridgewater, died peacefully on July 1, 2023 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. Diane was the wife for 50 years of the late Joseph E. Cashman. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Theresa (Yannone) Castano.

Diane was a graduate of Brockton High School and Fisher College. For many years she worked for the Internal Revenue Service and retired from the Social Security Administration.

Diane enjoyed time spent with her sons and family. She also enjoyed travel, especially to Europe, was an avid reader and gardener.

Diane is survived by her three sons Peter Cashman and his wife Leah of Taunton, Matthew Cashman of Easton and Patrick Cashman of West Bridgewater and her two grandsons Travis and Jason Cashman. Diane was the sister of Robert Castano and the late Richard and Rosalie Castano.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, on Thursday July 6, from 9:45-10:45am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, West Bridgewater at 11:30am. Burial will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery.
