Obituary

Diane Cronin 56, of Brockton died unexpectedly Thursday June 9, 2016 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was born in Boston to Catherine “Jackie” (Marrone) Cronin of Brockton and the late Edward F. Cronin, Chief of Police. Diane was raised in Brockton and was a 1977 graduate of Brockton High School. Following, she attended nursing school at Southeastern Technical Institute in Easton, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse and for a short time worked at Cardinal Cushing Hospital.
Diane took great joy in caring for others with her kind and gracious nature. She lived for her family and was devoted to her daughter and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a grateful, happy lady with amazing style.
In addition to her mother, Diane is survived by her daughter Jessica Cronin Fleming and her husband Clinton of Mansfield, her sisters Catherine Cronin of Sharon, Patricia Giordani of Bridgewater, Janet Cronin Danner of Plymouth and Cheryl Cronin Sullivan of Taunton and her grandsons, Clinton Jr., Jack and Logan Fleming. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-7 pm. A funeral home service with be Wednesday at 11 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
