Obituary

Diane H. (Bossa) Porazzo, age 76, of East Bridgewater, passed away on June 6, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Orion “Sonny” and Virginia (Swann) Bossa. Born in Brockton, Diane graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1958, and began her lifelong career at BPM/Shaw’s Supermarket where she held a wide variety of positions in numerous locations. Upon retirement, she dedicated her time to her family. Those who knew Diane best will always remember the warm smile and the infectious laugh she brought to any gathering. Her happiness came from one simple philosophy: any day spent with loved ones is a gift. Her beliefs and positive attitude never wavered even through countless chemotherapy treatments and her final days on hospice. She will be incredibly missed by those around her, but her love and support have made a lasting impact that will never be forgotten.

Diane was the mother of Louis Porazzo, Jr. and his wife Corinne, and Kimberly Eldredge and her husband Richard; “Mimi” to her four grandchildren: Daniel, Samantha and Mackenzie Eldredge, and Christopher Porazzo. She was the former wife of Louis Porazzo Sr. Per Diane’s wishes, private family services have been held.
