Diane M. Samia, 63, of Brockton, died Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness.

She was born on August 3, 1959, in Brockton. She was the daughter of Eleanor L. Samia (Saba) and the late Henry G. Samia. She was a life-long resident of Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School in 1977. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Bridgewater State College in 1981.

She worked for many years with Southeastern Regional School in early child-care development, and in the school systems of the towns of Randolph, Stoughton and Canton. Diane was a dedicated and passionate educator who devoted many years of her life to teaching. Her commitment to her students' success and growth was unwavering, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.

Diane greatly enjoyed time spent with family, her friends at the gym and her time outdoors at beaches and pools.

She was predeceased by her father Henry G. Samia and is survived by her mother, Eleanor L. (Saba) Samia of Brockton; her Aunts Dorothy Saba of Brockton and Susan Saba of Portland, ME, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

She was a communicant of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church in Brockton.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 18th, from 8:30-10:30 AM at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton. The Service of the Divine Liturgy will follow and will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main St., Brockton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
