Born December 26, 1923 in Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Marcilino Alves and Bermira DaRosa. He is survived by his children, Ana Dagraca, Mario DaRosa, Irma DaRosa, Francisco DaRosa, Maria F. Rosa, Matilde Rosa, Maria A. DaRosa, Eugenio DaRosa, and Adilina DaRosa;his 31 grandchildren; his siblings, Hermoge DaRosa and Joaquina DaRosa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick Parish, 10 Magazine St., Roxbury on Thursday, July 2nd at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale. Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00PM - 8:00PM.
