Dolores A. (Byron) Shaw, 74, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the loving wife of Joseph S. Shaw for 56 years.
Born March 15, 1941 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Leo W. Byron and Clara (Beauclair) Byron. Raised in Boston, she was a 1959 graduate of St. Patricks High School in Boston.
Dolores was a loving wife and homemaker, and she enjoyed spending time with friends and family; especially her grandchildren. She was most recently a communicant of Christ the King Parish and served as a volunteer and Eucharistic Minister at various city parishes throughout her life.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Debra Peterman and her husband David of Marshfield, Joseph Shaw and his wife Kim of Ellicot City, MD, Delores Champ and her husband John of Duxbury, Mark Shaw and his wife Elizabeth of Brockton, Matthew Shaw and his wife Cheri of Brockton, and Christopher Shaw and his wife Christina of Whitman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, March 15th at 8:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home Monday 4:00-8:00PM.
