Obituary

Donald R. “Don” Mantell 31 years of Brockton died Saturday Oct. 13 at the Kindred Hospital in Stoughton after a lengthy illness. He was born in Brockton a son of Deborah Mantell. He remained a lifelong resident of the city and had attended Brockton schools For the past 10 years Don had been employed by Shaw’s Supermarket. He worked in the deli department in Stoughton for the past 6 years and previously in Sharon and Eastside, Brockton.
Don enjoyed wrestling, fast cars, movies, drawing and sports especially football and basketball. He will be remembered for his big smile, thoughtful, caring and generous disposition and easy going spirit,
In addition to his mother of Brockton he leaves a sister and brother Christina and Daniel Mantell both of Brockton and four nephews and a niece.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Wed. 5-8 pm.
