Father of Laureen Ducharme and her husband Kris of Middleboro and Donald E. Blanchard, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Bridgewater. Brother of Kenneth and Roger Blanchard both of Brockton. Grandfather of Donald III, Jacqueline, Dean, Bryce, Jacob and Meadow.

Donald E. “Duckie” Blanchard, 70 years died Tuesday evening at Massachusetts General Hospital after a period of failing health. He was born, raised and educated in Brockton, the son of the late Everett and Edna (Caron) Blanchard. Mr. Blanchard has been a resident of Middleboro for the past two and half years. Duckie was bus driver for the MBTA in Quincy and Boston for 32 years, retiring 15 years ago. He was a fun loving man with passions for the Raynham Dog Track but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
