Obituary

Donald E. Egan, age 65, resident of Brockton, died April 26, 2009 at his home surrounded by his children and devoted wife Patricia (Dwyer) Egan. Born in Boston, son of the late Charles H. and Mary (MacNeil) Egan. He was a proud member of the National Guard. He was employed at Lowe’s in Brockton for the past eight years. Previous employers include Kinetic Systems and Cambion Corp.

He is also survived by his six children: Kevin, Denise, John, and Brian of Brockton; Christine O’Connell of Mansfield; and Kathleen Roper of E. Bridgewater; and four grandchildren. He was the brother of: Barbara Egan, Carol Dempsey, and Charles Egan all of Weymouth, Midge Gibbons of Westford, and the late Anne Lunsford of Billerica and the late Dorothy Gates of Weymouth.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, W. Bridgewater at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting Hours are Tuesday 4-7pm.
