Online Obituaries Donald F. "Donny" Irving, of Brockton, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Brockton after a long period of failing health with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Chris-Marie Irving. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Frederick and Emily (Churchill) Irving. He was a graduate of Brockton High School. Donny served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper of the 52nd Air Bourne Division. While serving his country he was very proud of the wings he earned and received. Donny has resided in Brockton all his life, He was a long time contractor throughout Brockton and the surrounding towns. Donny had a great love for horses, enjoyed watching Sports, and had an overall zest for life. He is most known for his kind heart and warm smile. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. In addition to his beloved wife Chris-Marie Irving, he is survived by his five daughter's and one son, Heather Gallo and her husband Jeffery, Vanessa Irving, Andrea Kingman and her husband Eamon, Kimberlee Gibbs-Bubello and her husband Todd, Joelle Weaver and her husband Christopher, and Frankie Gibbs; his eleven grandchildren, Brian and Amanda Maloney, Michael and Nicholas Gallo, Cody and Kaden Kingman, Olivia and Oliver Gibbs-Bubello, Jacob Merrill, Emily Weaver, and Kiraly Gibbs and his mother, Jihye Ko. Donny is also survived by his sister-in-law, Sandra Irving; his two nephews, Robert and John Irving. He was the brother of the late Robert Irving. Funeral Information Following Cremation, A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 4th at 11:00AM in the Veteran's Section of Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton.
