Obituary

ABINGTON - Donald B. "Donnie" Peterson, age 64, of Abington, formerly of Braintree, suddenly on September 30th. Beloved husband of Ruth M. (Lehtinen). Loving father of Laureen Peterson of Rockland, Lisa Sweetman of Pembroke, and Brian Peterson of Boston. Dear brother of Linda Presanzano of Florida, Nancy Carr of Missouri, Jimmy Peterson of Brockton, and the late Bruce Peterson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends. Mr. Peterson was employed at the Polaroid Corporation for 22 years as a Quality Control Technician. Donald’s passions included vintage cars, history, eagle watching, Boston sports teams, and love for his country. His patriotism led him into service with the U.S. National Guard.
