Obituary

Donald J. Robillard 78, of Brockton died Wednesday April 11, 2012 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth from injuries sustained from a pedestrian accident. He was born, raised and educated in Brockton, a son of the late Wilfred P. and Josephine (Chambers) Robillard.

In Donnie’s younger years he worked as a jockey for Suffolk Downs in Boston. He then became an entrepreneur as a barber and began as an apprentice. The barber shop is now 3rd generation and he catered to elderly shut ins and the handicapped. Donnie had also worked for his father at the family business Rainbow Brick.

He had been a member of the Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness in Brockton since 1970. Donnie also loved to take daily walks.

He is survived by his daughter Colette Mary Kittridge and her husband Jeffrey; two grandsons Nathan and Alex all of Canaan, NH; his brothers Edward and his wife of Clair of San Diego, CA; Richard and his wife Roberta of E. Bridgewater and Roger and his wife Barbara of Tucson, AZ and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Wilfred and Laurence.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Saturday April 28, 2012 from 1-2pm followed by a service at 2pm. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donnie’s memory to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 44 Plain Street, Brockton, MA 02302.
