He was the husband of Rhonda Lee (Hargrove) Shanks. Born on April 25,1961 in Brockton, MA, to the late Malcolm S. Shanks, Sr. and Julia C. (Winslow) Shanks. He was the devoted husband of Rhonda Lee (Hargrove) Shanks. He attended Brockton public schools. He was employed as a truck driver for the John A. Cooper Asphalt Company. He enjoyed swimming, karaoke, visiting flea markets and Dunkin Donuts with his friends. He truly will be missed by all. Besides his loving wife Rhonda he leaves to cherish his memories his children, Shirley Mattos, DonMiguel Shanks Jr., Giovanni Shanks, Talisa Shanks, Erica Shanks; his step-children, Sheanna Orcutt, Ryan Hargrove, and Chelsea Hargrove; his several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings, Malcolm Shanks, Jr. and his companion Lynn Roberts, Vance Shanks and his wife Deborah, Judith Shanks, Jordina (Shanks) and her wife Noel Lawler; his aunts and uncles, Bruce Shanks, Maragret Silva, Domingo and Peggy Silva. Frances and Harold Weeden his friend and cousin Josette (Jobay) Bradshaw. Friends Peter Roderick and John Cooper; his In-laws William (Will) Hargrove, Lafayette (Buddy) Hargrove III, Terri Hargrove and Maryellen (Nene) and her husband Steve Jones. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. He was also the brother of the late Elizabeth (Bettyann) Silva and the son in-law of the late Lafayette and Mary Hargrove.
