Donna Ann Patton, 66, of West Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 21, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with colorectal cancer.

Born in Somerville, Donna was the daughter of the late James Patton and Mary (Sealey) Patton. She grew up in Bellingham and graduated from Worcester State University.

Donna built a successful career as Vice President of Human Resources at Telestream in Westwood, where she was admired for her leadership and dedication.

Known for her quick wit, lighthearted spirit, and warm, personable nature, Donna had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her sense of humor and positive outlook brightened every room she entered.

She cherished time with her family and her new dog, Billie, who brought her great joy.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Barry Gee; her children, Lena, Mary, and Charles; and her siblings, James H. Patton Jr. and his wife Paula, Nancy M. Patton, and Cheryl E. Patton. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles E. Patton. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to support Donna's daughter Mary's Boston Marathon fundraiser. Mary will be running for the Tufts Medical Center Team, where Donna received all of her oncology care.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Wednesday, November 26th at 9:00AM thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM.  Private Cremation will follow.  Calling hours in the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00-9:00PM.
