Online Obituaries Doris V. (Chelette) Asacker, 78, of Lakeville, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late George S. Asacker. Born June 30, 1934 in Colfax, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Peter Chelette and Pearl (Shelton) Chelette. Doris was a Lakeville resident for 20 years and had previously lived in Brockton. She enjoyed Knitting, Ceramics, Home dcor and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Asacker and his wife Kimberly of Exeter, NH and Brian Asacker and his wife Maria of Mendon; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Andrea, Madeleine and Gabriel; her siblings, Lee T. Chelette, Morris Chelette, Patsy Hall and Reba McManus; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Brian and Donald Chelette. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Thursday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15PM. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday 6:00-9:00PM.
