Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Edward Church at 10:30am. Burial will be private. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Please omit flowers. Donations in Doris’ name may be made to the St. Edward Parish Renovation Fund, 71 East Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary Information

Miss Burrell died Sunday, March 31, 2002 in Nashua New Hampshire at the Courville at Nashua Nursing Home, after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Margaret “Izie” (Pratt) Burrell. She attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1934. During her high school years she played basketball for St. Paul’s Girls Club. She had been a resident of Nashua New Hampshire for many years, and while living in Nashua had been employed as a realtor for various firms, as well as running her own business. She was a member of the Nashua NH Realtors Association and the Nashua Senior Citizens Association.

Miss Burrell is survived by her brother Retired Brockton Fire Chief Edward L. Burrell and her sister Margaret P. Liguori both of Brockton.She is also survived by four nephews
