Obituary

Doris J. (O’Neil) Collins, age 59, of Brockton, died January 15, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born, raised and educated in East Boston, daughter of the late James H. and Dorothy J. (Coscia) O’Neil. Doris had been a resident of Brockton for the past 35 years, and was formerly of Winthrop. She loved shopping, ceramics, decorating and drinking coffee at Dunkin Donuts. Doris was primarily a homemaker who loved to spoil her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Stacy Collins and her husband Sergio “Tony” Gonzalez, Jackie Collins and Lori Collins all of Brockton; seven grandchildren, Devon, Sergio, Adriana, David, Hannah, Skyla and Loriah; a sister Sharon Payne of Virginia, and her former husband Edward Collins.

Following cremation, services will be held at a later date.
