Walbourne, of Brockton, May 12, 2006, Dorothea G. (Carondonis) Walbourne, 83 years. Wife of Ernest U. Walbourne. Sister in law of Ellen Caron of Bridgewater, Marion Cole of Brockton, Richard and Marilyn Walbourne of Brockton, Robert Walbourne of Cedarville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 10:30am. Visitation 9:30-10:30am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:00pm.

Obituary Information

Dorothea G. (Carondonis) Walbourne, 83 years died Friday evening at the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Canton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Ernest U. Walbourne for 59 years. Born and raised in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Kimon and Ellen (Hawley) Carondonis. She was a 1941 graduate of Brockton High School and the Brockton Business School. She retired as the Administrator of the Public Finance Company in Brockton in 1963. She enjoyed summering in Poponnesset for over 50 years and traveled extensively.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest U. Walbourne, several nieces and nephews and was the sister in law of Ellen Caron of Bridgewater, Marion Cole of Brockton, Richard and Marilyn Walbourne of Brockton and Robert Walbourne of Cedarville. She was the sister of the late James Caron.
