Obituary

Dorothee M. (Perrault) Droukas 84 years, of Brockton formerly of West Bridgewater, August 1, 2010 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston. She was born and raised in Brockton and graduated from the Brockton Schools. She was the daughter of the late William and Leona (Gagnon) Perrault. Dorothee was a simple lady who enjoyed cooking, knitting; she also had a great love for reading, but what gave her the most enjoyment in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandson Robby and great niece Angela.

She is survived by her children Robbin Farretta and her husband Robert Jr. of Taunton, Richard W. Droukas and his partner Dr. Robert E. Andrews of Rye, NH, Robert J. Droukas and his wife Carol; her grandchildren Robby Farretta and Nicole Droukas; many nieces and nephews and her former husband Nicholas Droukas. She was also the sister of the late William and Frank Perrault.


A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 14 St. Mary’s Square, Taunton MA 02780 Saturday August 14, at 10am. In memory of Dorothee the family would prefer donations to the ASPCA 424 E. 92nd St New York, NY 10128-6804.
