Batson of Brockton March 21, 2002 Dorothy (Dawson) Batson, 83 years.Wife of the late Arthur Batson and Frank Bailey.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation 10-11 am.

OBITUARY Information

Mrs. Batson died Thursday at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a lengthy illness. She was born in West Bridgewater, daughter of the late Stanley and Annabelle (Brown) Dawson. She was raised and educated in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. For many years she volunteered at the Brockton VA Medical Center at the Day Treatment Center.

She is survived by two sisters Bertha Callahan of Berkley and Louise Dearing of Bridgewater. She also leaves a dear friend Don Katz of Brockton and several nieces and nephews She was the wife of the late Arthur Batson and Frank BaileySister of the late Richard and Earl Dawson, Stella Dawson, Alice Simmons, Lucille “Bunny” Dawson and Doris Powers

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11 am. The Rev. Donald E. Paige will officiate. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
