Dorothy L. (Cobbett) Gardner Dorothy (Cobbett) Gardner, 69, of Brockton, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Gardner. Born July 8, 1939 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Lester F. Cobbett and Beatrice E. (Fritz) Cobbett. Dorothy enjoyed playing card games, knitting, crocheting, and watching NASCAR. She is survived by her children, Donald C. Gardner and Evelyn E. Fowler; her grandchildren, Michael Gardner and William Fowler; her sister, Gloria Hawley; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 2:45PM in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
