Online Obituaries Dorothy A. (Carr) Keane, 90, of Bridgewater, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at her home under the care of her family. She was the wife of the late James F. Keane (former Brockton High School Teacher). Born November 26, 1925 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James Carr and Margaret (Manning) Carr. Raised in Dorchester, she attended St. Anns Elementary School and St. Gregory High School. Dorothy was devoted to her family. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Brockton and St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater. She was a former member of the Brockton Democratic Committee. She has been a Bridgewater resident for the last 12 years and had previously lived in Brockton and Avon. She is survived by her 7 children, Regina M. Keane, of Bridgewater, Dorice M. Keane of Bridgewater, Deirdre M. Keane of Bridgewater, James F. Keane, Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Franklin, William G. Keane and his wife Diane of Brockton, Patrice M. Fraser of Sandwich, and Thomas A. Keane and his wife Eva of Plymouth; she is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Liam Keane, Sean Keane, Colin Keane, Kaitlin Pettinatto and her husband Brian, Kenneth Frazer, III, Kayleigh Fraser, Patrick Fraser, James F. Keane, III, Micheal Keane, Christoffer Keane, and Emma Keane; and 1 great-grandson, Joseph Pettinatto. She was the sister of the late James A. Carr. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) WEST BRIDGEWATER on Monday at 9:00AM thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, West Bridgewater on Sunday from2:00-6:00PM.
