Obituary

Dorothy E. (Eckstrom) Mansbach 84 years, of Brockton, died December 20, 2007in the West Acres Nursing Facility in Brockton. She was the wife of Ralph “Bill” Mansbach for 57 years before his death in 2000. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Flora (Gardner) Mead and has been a lifelong resident of Brockton.

Dorothy was a graduate of Brockton High School. She worked for many years as a payroll clerk for the Brockton Police Department and retired in 1988. She was a member of the Brockton Council on Aging, AARP; and enjoyed time spent playing bingo.

She is survived by her sister Beverly Walton of FL, her brothers George Eckstrom of Plymouth and Richard M. Eckstrom of FL, and her cousins Flora Kovac of Ohio, Frank Finn and his wife Wanda of Plymouth.

Visitation will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte123) Brockton Sunday 1-4 PM. The funeral will be from the funeral home Monday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 AM. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery.
