Dorothy F. Weir Dorothy F. (Washburn) Weir, 85, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Elbridge Weir. Born December 31, 1924 in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Martin E. Washburn and Irene E. (Weatherbee) Washburn. Dorothy was a retired shoe worker and she enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by her children, Robert Weir, Linda Lord, Judy Rohrbacher and Joanne Horsman; her sisters, Barbara Necker, Mary Hume and Margaret Donahue; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Richard Washburn. Funeral Information A private family funeral will be held.
