Obituary

Douglas "Pepere" J. Frederick, 56, of Middleboro, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on November 27, 1967, to Margaret (Gaudet) Frederick and the late Raymond Frederick in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Doug was raised in Rockport and then Falmouth, Massachusetts, alongside his sister, Kristen. Doug was a graduate of Falmouth High School, Class of 1985 before attending ITT Technical Institute. As a Computer Network Operations Manager, Doug continued his passion and knowledge for computer sciences, working around 20 years for Konica Minolta All Covered (formerly EveryNetwork).

Throughout childhood, Doug was known to be honest (at times too honest), sensitive and fiercely loyal to those he loved.

Since 1995, Doug has been the loving partner and spouse to Denise Brown. Throughout their years together, Doug and Denise built their happiness around family, sporting events and creating a perfect balance of one another. While helping to raise three daughters, Doug welcomed his new adventure with commitment and passion.

Doug was always known for bringing out the inner-child of everyone with his care-free and silly personality. From wrestling matches with his nephew Colby to nerf-gun wars with his grandchildren, Pepere was always the first requested and the first to skip the 'hello's' to begin the ultimate game or match. When he wasn't attending one of his grandchildren's events, Doug was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics, building and driving RC Cars, frisbee golf and photography.

Along with his mother Margaret and his spouse Denise, Doug is survived by his sister Kristen Bryant, her husband Steven, and their son Colby of Forestdale and his brother, Raymond Frederick of Lawrence. He leaves behind his daughters Keri-Ann Frazier and her husband Richard of Bourne, Kaitlyn Kilroy of East Bridgewater and Kristina Frazier and her husband Michael of Carver. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jacob, Kailey, Rylee, Marley, Keegan, Arya and Michael Jr., as well as nieces, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Doug is predeceased by his father Raymond Frederick and his aunt Paula Gaudet.

Calling hours will be at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., (Rt. 105) Lakeville, MA, on Monday, March 18th from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral services and interment will be private.
