Dr. DiFalco was born in Brockton, son of Pasquale and Louisa (D'Amico) DiFalco. He graduated from Brockton High in 1954 and served as class president for three years. He attended Tufts University and New Jersey College of Dentistry, graduating in 1961, then served two years in the Army Dental Corps in France and an additional four years in the Army Reserves.
He opened his dental office in Brockton in 1964 and practiced for more than 50 years. Beginning in 1993, Dr. DiFalco was a faculty member of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and was an Associate Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Care. He was a career-long member of the American Dental Association and the South Shore District Dental Society, serving as District Chairperson and as Delegate to the Annual Meeting of the Massachusetts Dental Society. He was a member of the Brockton YMCA, Brockton Italian Scholarship Club, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and a former member of the Brockton Board of Health.
Dr. DiFalco enjoyed reminiscing about growing up in Ward Two with its many Italian families and always speaking Italian and listening as his grandfather, Flaviano, and other Ward Two Italians told stories of their youth in Italy. He enjoyed many trips to Italy with his wife and family. Nothing was more important to him than being with family and friends and he always said he was very fortunate to have had the best of both.
The family thanks Dr. Edward Freccero, Dr. Satinder Dhillon, and Dr. Roger Graham for their excellent care and concern.
