Julius enjoyed being a much admired teacher within his profession of dentistry at Harvard University, Forsyth School of Dental Hygienists, Dimock Health Training Institute, Southeastern Technical Institute, and Boston University for almost forty years.
Julius retired as the Director of Dental Services for the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center/Services. He also enjoyed his time as Director at both Martha Eliot Health Center and Brigham Dental Group.
His passion was community engagement in the Arts and youth centered ministries and activities, which included: Do Drop Inn (a college support and encouragement ministry); the Messiah Baptist Men's Fellowship Choir; teaching piano to students; working as a volunteer with the Messiah Baptist Jubilee Federal Credit Union; serving as the principal lead for the Brockton-based Hallelujah Voices –a musical and theatrical organization producing many plays and musicals for over 40 years, and a long time dedicated member of the Messiah Baptist Church and other community musical entities.
