Obituary

Duane B. Washington, age 67, of Brockton, died December 2, 2011 at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center. Born and raised in Giatto, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James E. and Vivian (Davis) Washington. Duane was an Air Force Veteran who served during Vietnam and had been employed by Polaroid Corporation as a technician for 16 years. Duane enjoyed entertaining, cooking, vegetable gardening, fishing and music.

He is survived by his son Adrian Washington of Brockton, two brothers James of Brockton and Thomas of New Jersey and a sister Janice Thompson of California.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 10:30-11:30am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30am. Burial will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
