Dwight Stephen Jones, 75, of Bridgewater, passed away from COVID-19 on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Carol L. (Wolf) Jones for 33 years. Born in Brockton on January 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Stephen and Barbara (Burns) Jones. Dwight was a 1964 graduate of Brockton High School, going on to earn his undergrad at East Texas State and his Master's degree from Cambridge College. Dwight was a teacher for Whitman Public Schools for 35 years before retiring. He was also an Eagle Scout and Boy Scouts of America Troop Leader. Dwight was an avid golfer and skier and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, going to the beach and visiting a majority of National Parks. He also enjoyed traveling, both domestically and internationally and was a member of Paul Revere Lodge AF & AM and Brockton Chapter No. 87 Order Eastern Star. In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his children, Heather Robertson- Jones and her wife Melissa and Cory Jones; his grandson Noah Jones and his mother Amanda and her husband Joe Richards; his sister Cindy Noonan and her husband Tom; and several nieces and nephews.
