Earle W. Elliott, Jr. Earle Wilbur Elliott, Jr., 84, of Abington, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his home in Abington under the care of his family and hospice. He was the beloved husband for 59 years to the late Della Irene (Herrington) Elliott. Born August 5, 1926 in Medford, he was the son of the late Earle W. Elliott and Beatrice Maude (Steed) Elliott. Earle graduated from Somerville High School and served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Elliott was retired from the Massachusetts State Police where he was a police officer in Wellington Circle, Medford for several years. He also worked at Johnson Brothers Roses in Woburn for 50 years. He was involved with Shriners and he traveled the world. His favorite destination was Aruba and Foxwoods. He is survived by his children, Audrey Elliott-Aldo and her husband Thomas of Winchester, Earle W. Elliott, III and his wife Terri of Pembroke and Lon L. Elliott of Abington; his grandchildren, Nicole C. Aldo, Michael T. Aldo and Matthew E. Elliott; his brother, Kenneth H. Elliott of Wareham. Funeral Information A private funeral service was held with full military honors at the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
