Obituary

Earle W. Lovell Sr, 77, a lifelong resident of Brockton died April 28, 2014 after a long illness. Earle is the husband of Rose M. (Zarrella) Lovell and was the son of the late Earle G and Flora (Wood) Lovell. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator before a 30 year career as the head of maintenance for Our Lady of Sorrows Convent here in Brockton; he retired in 2007. Earle had a great love for the outdoors and farming and spent as much time as he could on his tractor.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Susan M. Kinney of Middleboro, Earle W. Lovell Jr. of Norwell, John J. Lovell, Rosemary L. Tonelli and Jean E. Lovell all of Brockton and Diane Bulu of Middleboro; his siblings Charles A. Lovell and Audrey L. Simmons of Brockton, David L. Lovell of PA and Francesca Rist of FL; many nieces and nephews and his 8 grand and 6 great grandchildren. He was also the brother to the late Ronald J. Lovell.

Visitation will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday
12-3:30 pm immediately followed by a funeral service at 3:30, all to conclude at 4pm. Cremation will follow with burial of ashes in Milton Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Earle the family would prefer donations to the American Lung Association of the Northeast Waltham, MA, 02451.
