Online Obituaries Eddie R. Allen, 70, of Brockton, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Guardian Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born June 1, 1946 in Louisburg, North Carolina he was a son of the late Earlie Allen and Elizabeth (Kelly) Allen. Eddie enjoyed fishing, working on cars and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his children, Edward Lynch and his wife Nanella, Valerie St. Rose and her husband Kenneth, Eddie Frierson, Edrica Allen and Tiesha Allen; his 7 grandchildren; his siblings, Rosa Jenkins, Vinnie Means, Annie Lee Roberson, Edith Allen, Thurston Allen, Barbra Allen, Curtis Allen, Marlon Allen, and Roger Allen. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was the father of the late Ned Gaskins and brother of the late Della Allen. Funeral Information A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be prior to the Service in the Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00AM - 11:00AM.
