Eddie Joe Cotten Eddie Joe Cotten , 66, of Brockton, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Braemoor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. Born July 25, 1941 in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, he was the son of the late James Cotten and Ellen (Moore)Cotten. Mr. Cotten worked for Serta Mattress Company for several years before retiring in 1998. He is survived by his daughters, Yolanda Cotten of Quincy and Wesley Cotten of Melrose. Funeral Information A private family funeral services was held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home followed by interment in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
