Obituary

Eddie Holland, age 44, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, September 5, 2022 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Eddie was the son of Barbara (Taggart) Holland of Charlotte, NC and the late Frank Holland. He was born, raised and educated in Brockton.

For many years, Eddie was self-employed as a handyman/contractor of odd jobs. An easy going guy, he was always willing to help his family and others in need. He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends and watching football.

In addition to his mother and her longtime companion Carlos Cosey, Eddie is survived by his brother Stephen Holland and sister Angela Holland, both of New Bedford and Carlos' children Carla, Camitra, Katrina and Jemal, two aunts Dora Fernandes of Brockton, Annie Thomas of Mississippi and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Eddie’s family would like to thank the many friends for their prayers and support.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11am to 1pm.
