Obituary

Edith E. (Knight) (Williams) Fisher 83 years of Brockton died Saturday evening February 23, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Carroll A. and Edith I. (Soderbom) Knight. For many years she had lived in Cohasset before returning to Brockton 30 years ago. Edith had been a housekeeper for the Cohasset Nursing Home and the Embassy House Nursing Home in Brockton. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles and her cat Needles.
She is survived by three sons Arthur P. Williams of Brockton; Ralph A. Fisher of Tennessee and Joseph E. Fisher of Lake Forest, CA. She was the grandmother of Jennifer A. Williams of Largo, FL; Arthur R. Williams of Washington; Ralph Fisher of Austin, TX and Edward Fisher of NJ. She also leaves a great granddaughter Layla A. Williams.
She was the sister of Richard Knight and Carroll Knight both of Brockton; Bernie Knight of E. Bridgewater; Alice Ferbert of Halifax and the late David and Kenneth Knight, Gladys Nash, Gloria Prosper and Gertrude Seelye. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10:30 am with visitation 9:30 – 10:30. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
