Online Obituaries Edith M. (Tedesco) Gouveia, 82, passed away peacefully Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Braemoor Health Center in Brockton after a courageous battle with Parkinsons disease. Born May 12, 1934 in Brockton, she was a lifelong resident of the city and a graduate of Brockton High School. Edith enjoyed arts & crafts and cooking. She was especially devoted to her loving family. She is survived by her son, Stephen Gouveia and his wife Pamela of Berkley; her grandchildren, Allison, Paige, Chelsea and Geoffrey Jr., Gouveia; her brother, Nicholas Sonny Tedesco and his wife Maria of Easton and her niece, Bonnie Owen of Bridgewater. She was the mother of the late Geoffrey Gouveia. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton on Tuesday, August 2nd at 8:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
