Murphy of Brockton February 17, 2006, Edith A. (Malaguti) Murphy, 93 years. Wife of the late James F. Murphy. Survived by her special friends, Julie Manson of Bridgewater and Walter Leonardi of Marshfield.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 pm.

Obituary

Mrs. Murphy died Friday at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Wareham, a daughter of the late Luigi and Leticia (Colanica) Malaguti. She had been a resident of Brockton for 73 years, previously lived in Bridgewater and Plymouth.
He was a stitcher at Union Furniture and a skiver at Barbour Welting both in Brockton.
She was a Member of the Brockton Business Girls Bowling League and she loved to play bingo on Sundays. She was a Communicant of St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish

She is survived by her friends Julie Manson of Bridgewater and Walter Leonardi of Marshfield and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Wife of the late James F. Murphy and sister of the late Patricia C. Joy, Madeline Malaguti, Susan Sala and Aldena Garuti
