Obituary
Edna B. Beattie, 80 years died Tuesday evening at the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born and raised in Arbroath, Scotland, a daughter of the late James and Catherine (Bruce) Smith. In 1961 she came to the United States with her husband. For the past 15 years she has resided in Taunton and previously lived in Brockton for 23 years. Mrs. Beattie retired from Haemonetics after many years of service. She loved flower gardening and traveling. She was a member of St. Andrew Society (Scottish Social Club) and she had been a longtime member of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in South Easton.
She is survived by her son, Graeme A. Beattie and his wife Susan of East Bridgewater, 2 grandchildren Ryan and Adam Beattie.
She was the wife of the late Andrew Beattie and sister of the late Charles and Fred Smith, James Bruce and Agnes Revie
