Blanchard and his wife Annette of Brockton; Donald Blanchard and his wife Anna of Bridgewater; Everett R. Blanchard and his wife Debbie of Brockton of Brockton and the late Muriel Connolly.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street, Brockton Thursday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church 235 Court St., Brockton, at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm.
Obituary
Mrs. Blanchard died Monday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness.She was December 19, 1902 in Marlboro, Mass. daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Bertrand) Caron. She had been a been a resident of Brockton since 1904.
Mrs. Blanchard had been the business manager of her husband’s printing shop in Brockton and continued to run the presses until she was 85 years old. She previously had worked as a tipper for many years at the former Corto-Hyde.
She enjoyed crocheting and attending dog and harness races.She was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church.She is survived by her 3 sons8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephewsShe was the mother of the late Muriel Connolly.
