Born December 2, 1978 in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde he was the son of the late Domingas G. Gonsalves. Edson was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed carpentry. He is survived by his wife, Bettina Lloyd-Alves; his children, Jasaila Lloyd-Alves, Aiden Alves, Sarai Alves and Eli Lloyd-Alves; his cousin Jose Alves and his mother-in-law, Gwendolyn Lloyd. Funeral Information A Graveside Service will be held in the Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street Brockton on Friday, March 25th at 9:00AM. Rev. Michael Walker will officiate.
