Edward F. Conley Edward Francis Conley, 56, of Bridgewater, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 in Brockton from a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Born October 30, 1951 in Brockton, he graduated from Brockton High School in 1969. Following high school he graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. in Environmental Law, Magna Cum Laude in 1973. He was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and member of Beta Kappa Phi Fraternity. After extensive research involving contact with top State Administrative Officials he published an environmental article on the topic of enhanced air quality with Harvard University College of Medicine/School of Public Health in 1973. For 14 years, he worked for the New England Telephone Company holding various management positions including one that needed Secret Service clearance. He then worked for Remax Advanced as a Real Estate Agent. Various jobs after included Limousine Service Companies and Cab Companies south of Boston. When he wasn't working he spent most of his time with his children. He enjoyed watching and supporting their numerous athletic activities including Irish Step Dancing, soccer, baseball, and golf. He encouraged them to open their eyes and ears to the world around them. He was very proud of his children's accomplishments. Ed is survived by his former wife, Denise (Oliver) Conley; his daughter, Siobhan Conley; his son, Kevin Conley and the late Sean Patrick Conley all of Bridgewater; his brother, James J. Conley, Jr. and his wife Patricia and their two children, Alexis and Christopher all of Brockton; family of Conley Funeral Home; many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, February 23rd at 8:00AM thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM.
