Edward (Ed) M. Galante, Sr. 74, of Brockton, MA and Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away among family on October 11, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the recent deceased Judith Galante, his high school sweetheart and life-long partner with whom he was happily married to for 52 years.

Born in Brockton, the son of the late Edward A. Galante of Brockton, MA and Elizabeth Galante currently of West Palm Beach, FL. "Super Grandpa" adored his grandchildren and family and loved to spend time with them. He enjoyed the beach and spending time with friends.

Proud father of Attorney Edward M. Galante, Jr. and wife Susan of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Professor Christopher F. Galante of Mansfield, MA and Brendan M. Galante and wife Rachael of Casselberry, FL. Devoted grandfather to Meghan, Katelyn, Quinn and Benjamin. Brother of Suzanne Price and husband Tom of Brockton, MA.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Friday, October 14th at 9:00 AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the funeral home on Thursday, October 13th from 4:00-7:00 PM.
