Edward Kenneth Johnson, 81, of Tewksbury, MA formerly of Brockton, MA passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Louise (Proulx) Johnson.

Born December 29, 1941 in Brockton, MA he was the son of the late A. Rudolph and Karen (Akre) Johnson.

He was a graduate of the former Brockton Trade School in 1959. He enjoyed snowmobiling and carpentry. Mr. Johnson was a 29 year member of the Brockton Fire Department.

He is survived by a daughter; Kristen (Johnson) McGregor and her husband Michael of North Reading; grandchildren, Ashley (McGregor) Pintone and her husband Vinny and Ryan McGregor; great grandchildren, Giovani and Savanah Pintone; a sister, Marilyn (Johnson) Mihos; two nieces and six nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kenny McGregor, a sister, Anne (Johnson) DiBari and two brothers in law, Sam DiBari and Theodore Mihos.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20th at 12:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, (Rt.123) Brockton. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.
