Edward Morales, 59, of Brockton, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, unexpectedly from natural causes. He was the loving husband of Ebelgica (Espiritu) Morales. Born June 29, 1959, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was a son of Miguel and Hilda Morales. Edward served his country in the United States Army. He worked for G.T.R Manufacturing Company for 30 years. Edward was an avid football and baseball fan. Some of his favorite teams included the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed playing dominos, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ebelgica (Espiritu) Morales; his children, Lydia, Amarilis, and Alina; his step-children, Raquel, Yesenia, Angelica and Rico; and his parents, Miguel and Hilda Morales. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, his 5 siblings and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, January 11th from 2:00PM – 5:00PM followed by a funeral service at 5:00PM. Interment will be private.
