Obituary

Edward T. Murphy, 81 years of Brockton, died February 14, 2010 at Copley At Stoughton. He was the devoted companion of the late Gloria Malo. A lifelong resident of Brockton, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Stanton) Murphy. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard and had been a longtime employee of Shaw’s in Brockton and member of the Conte Memorial Club.

He was the father of Margaret Ferrini and Edward T. Murphy, Jr. both of Florida; grandfather of Lisa Perry, Kerry Simmons and Anthony Ferrini and longtime dear friend to Charles Malo and Ellen DuBois of South Easton. He is also survived by his many friends at the Conte Memorial Club.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 11am. Visitation prior to the service 10-11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
